FLINS 2008 accomodation will be arranged by VIAJES EL CORTE INGLES, one of the most prestigious travel agencies in Spain.

A limited number of rooms have been reserved for FLINS 2008 participants in the following excellent hotels (more detailed information can be found in hotel description and hotel location, reminding that the closest Metro to conference site is "Ciudad Universitaria", line 6). FLINS 2008 participants should fill in the form below AS SOON AS POSSIBLE in order assure reservation and enjoy the FLINS 2008 hotel rates:

(1) Hotel AYRE GRAN HOTEL COLON (****): Pez Volador, 1-11. Close to Prado Museum, 30 minutes walk to the city centre. Next to Metro "Sainz de Baranda", lines 6 (direct to 'Ciudad Universitaria') and 9.

(2) Hotel TIROL (***): Marqués de Urquijo, 4. Right in Princesa Street, one of the most important shopping areas of Madrid, 10 minutes walk to the city centre and 20 minutes walk to the conference site. Next to Metro "Argüelles", lines 3, 4 and 6.

(3) Hotel NH ARGÜELLES (***): Vallehermoso, 65. Close to Princesa Street, 20 minutes walk to the city centre and 20 minutes walk to the conference site. Next to Metro "Canal", lines 7.

(4) Hotel TRYP GRAN VIA (***): Gran Vía, 5. Right in the city centre, 35 minutes walk to the conference site. Next to Metro "Callao", lines 3 and 5.

(5) Hotel TRYP REX (***): Gran Vía, 43. Right in the city centre, 35 minutes walk to the conference site. Next to Metro "Santo Domingo", line 2.

(6) Hotel TRYP WASHINGTON (***): Gran Vía, 72. Right in the city centre, 30 minutes walk to the conference site. Next to Metro "Plaza de España", lines 3 and 10.

(7) Hotel NH ALBERTO AGUILERA (***): Alberto Aguilera, 18. Close to Princesa Street, 10 minutes walk to the city centre and 30 minutes walk to the conference site. Next to Metro "San Bernardo", line 4.

Moreover, a number of rooms will be available for FLINS 2008 participants in the Student Residence "COLEGIO MAYOR SANTA TERESA", address: Avenida de Séneca, 12 (28040 MADRID). Please note that although reservation is made by means of VIAJES EL CORTE INGLES, service quality is a full responsability of Complutense University:

(8) STUDENT RESIDENCE (Colegio Mayor Santa Teresa, Avenida de Séneca 12, Madrid 28040): 15 minutes walk to the city centre and 15 minutes walk to Conference Site. Next to Metro "Moncloa", lines 3 and 6. Please take into account that they offer a simple room with "student" facilities (no TV, for example) and that payments should be made before July 15 in order to guarantee reservation of the 5-nights pack decribed below, with no refund in case of non-attendance. Please contact organization AS SOON AS POSSIBLE in case you are interested or in case you need additional nights (maximum stay: arrival on September 15, departure on September 26).
- Single room with private bath, 5 nights from September 20 to September 25: 220 euro total (breakfast and taxes included)
The best way to reach the "Santa Teresa" Student Residence from the airport is by Metro: take Line 8 to "Nuevos Ministerios" (7th station) and change to Line 6, direction "Cuatro Caminos"; get off on "Ciudad Universitaria" (4th station, but take care since Line 6 is the Circular Line, and if you take the opposite direction it will take you a long time to reach "Ciudad Universitaria"). When you get out in "Ciudad Universitaria" follow the main street, Avenida Complutense street, left towards the "Residencia Santa Teresa" (Avenida de Séneca street, 12). DO NOT FORGET TO TAKE WITH YOU A PRINTED COPY OF THE METRO-RESIDENCE MAP we have included in the web. As soon as you get into the "Santa Teresa" building, reception will be at your right side. Give your name and identify yourself as a FLINS conference participant. Please print also the University map to locate yourself with respect to the "Ciudad Universitaria" Metro exit (Sunday afternoon tours departure site), the "Museo del Traje" restaurant (Welcome Reception on Sunday evening, see also the WELCOME RECEPTION-RESIDENCE MAP) and the Mathematics building (Conference Site).
