Presenter Information

Each regular accepted paper has been assigned either to an ORAL session or to a POSTER session. Authors should check whether their papers are oral or poster presentation by having a look to FLINS 2008 preliminar program (see also tentative schedule).

For ORAL presentations, authors should download via a flashdrive their presentation to the PC located in the room where their session has been scheduled. Before any session, please also make your presence known to the session chair. It is essential that your presentation, including questions from the audience, fits within the designated time span allotted (18 minutes each). Please closely consult the program to determine where you are presenting and ensure that you arrive at your session 15 minutes prior to your presentation to set up. You may distribute handouts to interested audience members provided that this does not interrupt the flow of the session or the timing.

All session rooms will be equipped with PC and data projector. The computers will have MS PowerPoint 2003 and Adobe Reader. An MS PowerPoint 2007 patch will be installed. Use of own computers is not permitted as they may not be compatible with display equipment, which could result in delays in the program. No provision is made for slide projectors. Please advise well in advance should you require an overhead projector.

For POSTER presentations, authors should be assigned a DIN A0 slot (84cm x 118cm). Please make sure that posters are fixed in advance to poster session. Please closely consult the program to determine in which poster session you are presenting. Please ensure that you arrive at your poster session 15 minutes prior to your presentation to set up. Stay close to your poster in order to attend other researchers about your presentation. You may distribute handouts to interested audience members provided that this does not interrupt the flow of the session or the timing. Posters awards will be acknowledged by FLINS 2008 Scientific Committee in closing session.
