FIRST ANNOUNCEMENT
         FUNCTION THEORY ON INFINITE DIMENSIONAL
            BANACH SPACES VII, MADRID 2001

We would like to announce with this letter the upcoming
Conference on Infinite Dimensional Analysis to be held
in Madrid from the 17th to the 20th of December 2001.
This year we hold the seventh edition of this conference
which has taken place in the Departamento de Analisis of
the Universidad Complutense since 1989 on a biannual basis.

Up to now the following mathematitians have confirmed their
participation in the conference:

As in the other editions of this conference, all talks will be
given in the maths building of the Universidad Complutense. To
be more accurate, all talks will take place in the Rey Pastor
lecture hall, located in the basement of the maths buildings.
This room is equipped with projectors and facilities for the
use of beamers for those speakers willing to use transparencies.
A blackboard will also be provided.

This page will be updated various times in order to provide
the most recent information on the meeting at any time. 

We intend to schedule the program of the meeting as soon as
possible so that the speakers will know well in advance when
their talks are scheduled.

There will be a REGISTRATION FEE of 15000 Pesetas (about 80 US
dollars). Students can get a reduced registration fee of
5000 Pesetas.
