The conference will take place at the Facultad de Matemáticas of the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. We present below a map showing the location of the maths building withing the campus. All talks will be held at the "Rey Pastor" lecture hall, located in the basement of the maths building. The map also shows the main means of transportation to get to the maths building. The most reasonable way to get to the maths building from the main raylways stations and the airprt is by using public transportation. No the the map below that the nearest subway stop to the maths building is "Ciudad Universitaria". The exit from this stop lies about 400 meters from the maths building. One can also reach the maths building by bus. The following buses stop nearby: 82, 132, U, F. We thouroughly recommend the use of the subway, which is called metro in Spain. The price of a metro ticket is 135 pesetas. Ten-trip tickets are very convenient since they cost only 765 pesetas. Metro tickets can aso be used in most of the buses.

How to come to the maths building from the nearest metro stop:

The nearest metro stop to the maths building is Ciudad Universitaria. This stop has two exits. Use the one on the right to come out of the underground and then turn right. Then walk along the Avenida Complutense for about 10 minutes until you reach the main gate of the botanic gardens. There the Avenida Complutense branches out. Keep walking on the right branch for 100 meters more and you´ll get the Plaza de Ciencias and the maths building.

How to come to the maths building from the airport:

Nowadays one can reach almost any place in the city from the airport using Madrid's wide metro network. To use the metro from the airport you have to go to the first floor of Terminal T2 (take a look at the web site of Barajas Airport). The metro stop at the airport is called AEROPUERTO and it belongs to line 8 (pink color in the metro map), which goes from Mar de Cristal to Barajas. You have to go towards Mar de Cristal. There you change line and take line 4  towards Arguelles  (brown color in the metro map). Get off at Avenida de America and take the circular line or line 6 (grey color in the metro map). The circular line leads to Ciudad Universitaria, the closest metro station to the maths building. When you get to the circular line, make sure you get the most convenient platform.

How to come to the maths building from Chamartin railway station:

There is a metro stop at Chamartin railway station called CHAMARTIN. It belongs to the line 10 (dark blue color in the metro map) which goes from Fuencarral to Aluche. Go towards Aluche and get off Nuevos Ministerios. There you can get the circular line or line 6 (grey color in the metro map). Make sure you choose the most convenient platform to get to Ciudad Universitaria.

How to come to the maths building from Atocha railway station:

There is a metro stop at Atocha railway station called ATOCHA RENFE. It belongs to the line 1 (blue color in the metro map) which goes from Miguel Hernandez to Plaza de Castilla. Go towards the latter stop and get off at Cuatro Caminos. There you have to take the circular line or line 6. Make sure you get the right platform to go to Ciudad Universitaria.

How to come to the maths building from the hotel:

We still don't know where main speakers will be lodged. We will announce how to reach the maths building from the hotel as soon as we make arrangements about accommodation. We will also announce how to get to the hotel for those coming by plane and train.
