Accommodation

In principle, accommodation will only be provided for main speakers. Nevertheless, if you need acccommodation in Madrid during the conference it is possible to make hotel reservations in a very simple way.

The follwoing hotels are within a few metro stops from campus (see directions):

The Organization  has already booked rooms for all main speakers at Hotel NH Alberto Aguilera.
 

If you book a room in the previous hotels straight at the Corte Ingles Travel Agency in Campus you may get a much better price than if you contact directly the hotel. You can get in touch with this travel agency at ucm@viajeseci.es

Some Directions

Here we explain to you how to get to your hotel from several places in the city.

From the airport: The entrance to the Metro in the airport is located alongside terminal T2 (through the connection tunnel to Parking P2, first floor). The metro stop at the airport is called AEROPUERTO and it belongs to line 8 (pink color in the metro map), which goes from Nuevos Ministerios to Barajas. You have to go towards Nuevos Ministerios. There you transfer and take line 6 (the circular one, grey color in the metro map) in the direccion of Cuatro Caminos, Guzman el Bueno, Metropolitano, Ciudad Universitaria, Moncloa and Arguelles. As you transfer to the circular line make sure you get the most convenient platform. If you want to go to Hotel AC Los Vascos you should get off at Guzmán el Bueno. If you want to go to Hotel NH Alberto Aguilera, Hotel Tirol or Hotel Husa Princesa you should keep going two more stops and get off at Arguelles. Once you come out in the street follow an area situation map. Make sure you choose the right exit.

From Chamartín railway station: There is a metro stop at Chamartin railway station called CHAMARTIN. It belongs to the line 10 (dark blue color in the metro map) which goes from Fuencarral to Puerta del Sur. Go towards Puerta del Sur and get off at Nuevos Ministerios. There you can get the circular line or line 6 (gray color in the metro map). Make sure you choose the most convenient platform. Remember that if you want to go to Hotel AC Los Vascos then you should get off at Guzmán el Bueno and if you want to go to Hotel NH Alberto Aguilera, Hotel Tirol or Hotel Husa Princesa you should keep going two more stops and get off at Arguelles

From Atocha railway station: There is a metro stop at Atocha railway station called ATOCHA RENFE. It belongs to the line 1 (blue color in the metro map) which goes from Miguel Hernandez to Plaza de Castilla. Go towards the latter stop and get off at Cuatro Caminos. There you have to transfer to the circular line or line 6. Make sure you get the right platform to go to Ciudad Universitaria. Remember that if you want to go to Hotel AC Los Vascos then you should get off at Guzmán el Bueno and if you want to go to Hotel NH Alberto Aguilera, Hotel Tirol or Hotel Husa Princesa you should keep going two more stops and get off at Arguelles
