    I graduated in Mathematics in July 1999 from Málaga University, Spain. I was as a postgraduate fellow in the Department of Applied Mathematics at Málaga University since April 2001 till September 2003. I received my Ph.D. degree in Mathematics from Málaga University in October 2003. I was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics, Quantitative Methods and Economic History, Pablo de Olavide University, Seville, Spain, since October 2003 till July 2009, and I currently hold a position of Associate Professor in the same department since August 2009. I have published some research papers in journals on applied mathematics, operations research and related fields. My main research interests are in Queueing Theory and Telecommunication Systems.
