    I am Full Professor in the Faculty of Mathematics at the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM). I obtained my Ph. D. degree in Mathematics from UCM in 1991. I am Editor-in-Chief of the journal TOP and Associate Editor for several other journals. My research focuses on Stochastic Modelling of Biological Systems and Queueing Theory. I have published about 90 papers on these subjects.
