Short curriculum vitae of Rosario Susi García:

Associate Professor at the Department of Statistics and Operation Research III at the Faculty of Statistical Studies, Complutense University of Madrid (UCM). She is accredited by ANECA (the Spanish Agency for Quality Assessment) for promotion to Professor at University.

Rosario holds a PhD in Mathematics: Statistics and Operation Research since 2007 and actually, she has a six-year period.

Her research interests are Bayesian Statistics and Item Response Theory. She works with multidisciplinary groups developing statistical methodologies and applications in the field of Health. She co-directed a Doctoral Thesis, defended in 2015, in the Optics and Optometry Program (UCM) titled “Desarrollo y validación de una escala para medir la sintomatología asociada al uso de videoterminales en el trabajo”. She has been involved in many competitive research projects funded by Ministerio de Ciencia y Tecnología, Educación y Ciencia, Ciencia e Innovación, Salud and Fondo de Investigación Sanitaria. She is author of several research papers published in refereed journals included in Journal Citation Report (JCR) and Scopus.

She has been Scientific Visitor at the Biostatistics Unit at the Medical Research Council - University of Cambridge (United Kingdom) during five months in 2015.

Rosario Susi has more than 15 years of experience as Professor at the Complutense University of Madrid and has obtained in many occasions excellent evaluations as Professor. She has been leading and participating in many Innovation and Teaching Quality Projects with UCM funding.

For more than seven years (2007-2014), she has had different academic management positions at the Complutense University of Madrid as Subdirector of European Higher Education Area of the Statistical University School and Vice Dean of Quality at the Faculty of Statistical Studies.
